I’m taking up the challenge of learning a new skill, Cartooning. It may sound simple to both of you reading but I’m pencily retarded. Most use the excuse that “I can’t draw” but I say that’s rubbish, everyone can draw! My problem is transferring the images in my head to paper.

This all came about when I had the brainwave to create some social commentary in comic strip form on a popular gaming franchise. After a lot of messing about I couldn’t get the right tone and thus reality sunk in and I sat and looked at this big learning curve.

Hopefully it will be the case of it not being as bad as it first seems. After all I was good at drawing in primary school, I was voted as one of the best in my class at grade 7. But since then I’ve stuck to computers and got them to do my bidding and lost the art. Now the question is, where do I begin?
